Exclusive to Outside Comic-Con, we’ve got the details on several brand take-overs happening next week! FOX Broadcasting is taking over a parking lot at 450 2nd Ave., next to where the History Channel will have its Vikings Interactive Waterway. FOX will be installing a mini-golf course, 3-D printing stations, and a movie/TV screening area holding 250 chairs. Just what they will be showing there remains to be seen! A local pizza truck will also provide food and there will be tables set up. The FOX lot will be open Thursday through Saturday, 12-8pm. The Chuck Jones Gallery announced its line-up of special events and artist receptions during Comic-Con. As the end point for Course of the Force, the gallery will be home to all the COTF activities every day of the convention — including a Star Wars costume display — with art-related events in the evenings.  See the full gallery schedule, below. Video Games Live Returning to Comic-Con is the concert/visual spectacular, Video Games Live, which will be a free event this year on Saturday, July 20. Held at the Civic Theatre (1100 3rd Ave.), the Pasadena Orchestra will perform epic video game themes, combined with a visual presentation and audience interactivity, including giveaways. There is an Official Facebook Event Page or you can sign up on this Amazon page to be emailed details when available. Here’s what we currently know…   Shows: The Thrilling Adventure Hour announced they will be doing four live shows at Comic-Con. The old-timey, radio-style performance group will have 2 shows on Friday, and 2 on Saturday, at the Horton Grand Theatre (444 4th Ave). Various ticket levels range from $25 to $45, with the late-night performances having access to a VIP party. TAH’s past live performances in LA have included such special guests as Nathan Fillion, Clancy Brown, Karen Gillan, Alan Tudyk, and many other familiar names — so you never know who may show up!
