The Chuck Jones Gallery announced its line-up of special events and artist receptions during Comic-Con. As the end point for Course of the Force, the gallery will be home to all the COTF activities every day of the convention — including a Star Wars costume display — with art-related events in the evenings.  See the full gallery schedule, below.

The Chuck Jones Gallery is located at 232 Fifth Avenue (Map Link).

Course of the Force: Everyday, 11 AM – 6 PM

Thursday, July 18, 7 PM – 9 PM:

Chuck Jones Extravaganza
Chuck’s grandson, Craig Kausen as the special guest. There will be raffles, games, prizes, and new art from the legendary animation pioneer Chuck Jones. Come test your knowledge of Chuck Jones trivia against Craig, during the gallery’s “Jeopardy” challenge.

Friday, July 19, 7 PM – 9 PM:

James C. Mulligan
Meet muralist, performer, and pirate, James C. Mulligan, Friday evening, July 19 from 7 to 9 PM. Jimmy’s quick wit and joie de vivre are apparent in each of his remarkable canvases. Enjoy his swashbuckling superhero sagas and his spot-on recreation of all of your favorite cartoon characters. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry “Uncle”, and you’ll have a great time!

Saturday, July 20, 7 PM – 9 PM:

Drip-a-long Kungl
An evening with artist Mike Kungl, one of the artists commissioned by the Jones family to pay homage to the art and career of Chuck Jones for his centennial celebration, continues to impress with his Art Deco-inspired
re-interpretations of classic characters and moments from Jones’s impressive oeuvre. Eat, drink, and be merry while enjoying a chinwag with raconteur extraordinaire, Mike Kungl.
