For two Sundays in December, the Port of San Diego along with numerous sponsors light up the San Diego Bay with the “Parade of Lights.” Local boats decorate themselves with holiday lights, and parade from Shelter Island around the bay to Coronado. Fittingly, this year’s theme was Comic-Con!
Here’s a brief clip of parade highlights:

Meanwhile, the Comic-Con Museum celebrated the holidays with open hours during Balboa Park’s annual December Nights. Catch photos from the event on the Comic-Con Museum’s Facebook gallery.
The Museum will cap off the season with a screening of Elf on Friday, December 20th. Currently for members, and possibly open to the public depending on capacity. Follow them on Twitter or Facebook to stay up to date!
