Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing – The Exhibition

The museum will be closed for the month of June while the Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing – The Exhibition is installed, an exhibit commemorating Spider-Man’s 60th Anniversary, opening July 1st. The Free Days events will not include access to the Beyond Amazing Exhibit. That exhibit is a separate entry, with tickets available on Fever for $30. If you are a Comic-Con Museum member, you do receive entry and a guest pass to the exhibit with your membership.

The Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing – The Exhibition will be on display at the Comic-Con Museum through the end of the year, with tie-in programming and other special events planned to take place throughout the run. For more information, visit marvel.com and comic-conmuseum.org

Residents of San Diego County — yes, you, in Oceanside, Fallbrook, Imperial Beach, Campo, and beyond! — can visit the Comic-Con Museum for free on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022!

This is part of Balboa Park’s Residents Free Days, which allows for free visits for many of the park’s museums each month. Other participating museums include the Fleet Science Center, Natural History Museum, Museum of Art, Japanese Friendship Garden, Mingei International Museum, SD Automotive Museum, and (Comic-Con Museum neighbor) the Air & Space Museum.

Visit the Balboa Park site to learn more about the monthly free museum days.

The Comic-Con Museum was previously free on January 26th and February 23rd, 2022, so they may continue to offer the 4th Wednesday of the month as a free visit day for county residents. You can keep an eye out for future Residents Free days on the Visit the Museum page, and we will keep our socials updated with any news.

You can also visit the Museum every Wednesday through Sunday, at 2131 Pan American Plaza in San Diego! All the details on current exhibits and special events can be found on the Comic-Con Museum web site.
