This season, San Diego is welcoming something truly special: The Golden Girls Christmas Experience, right in the heart of Little Italy.

Step into a re-imagined version of Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia’s cozy Miami home, with a holiday twist. Starting November 19, the Bayside Kitchen & Bar (2137 Pacific Highway) transforms into a nostalgic wonderland, lovingly curated by Bucket Listers, who brought us the Malibu Barbie pop-up in the same spot.

General admission tickets include a 90-minute visit to Blanche’s home, full of photo ops, and a welcome drink at the Rusty Anchor. “After sold-out runs across the country, Bucket Listers is honored to bring ‘The Golden Girls’ experience back to Southern California,” says Bucket Listers President of Experiences Derek Berry. “With the show’s 40th anniversary, our new location offers the perfect opportunity to celebrate with a holiday twist. Who needs a white Christmas when you can have a golden one?”

Tickets include a reserved seat and a guaranteed window of time to experience The Golden Girls Christmas Experience, along with a Very Miami Christmas Cocoa (spiked for guests 21+) for each guest. Additional drinks may be purchased a la carte from the menu’s featured beverages, such as The Shady Pines Spritz, Blanche’s Hot Buttered Rum, Sophia’s Spiked Eggnog, Sicilian Snowstorm, and the Ho Ho Ho Mule. An à la carte selection is also available, featuring seasonal offerings like the signature Holiday Cheesecake Flight (four mini slices inspired by each character), Snowball Tiramisu Cups, St. Olaf Christmas Cookies, Fruitcake and Golden Ornament Truffles. All beverages, desserts and light refreshments will be served by dedicated Shady Pines staff.

Additionally, the pop-up features a selection of iconic photo opportunities designed to immerse fans in the world of Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sophia. Visitors are invited to sit at the kitchen table, relax on the Lanai, engage in some friendly competition out on the signature shuffleboard court, or capture a holiday greeting photo set against the iconic banana leaf print wall of Blanche’s bedroom, before checking out the exclusive merchandise store, which will offer a range of new gift items suitable for anyone on your shopping list.
