About the Rooftop Cinema Club

The RCC Embarcadero is located at the Manchester Grand Hyatt (1 Market Place, San Diego, 92101) on the open-air 4th Floor Sport Terrace of the Harbor Tower with stunning skyline views.

Films that start before 4 p.m. are open to guests of all ages and ticket prices range from $11-24. Films that start after 4 p.m. are open to guests 13-and-up and ticket prices range from $19-26. And films that begin after 8 p.m. are 18-and-over and also priced from $19-26. Rooftop Cinema Club’s delicious freshly popped popcorn is included with most ticket purchases, and military (15%) and Student (10%) discounts are also available.

Lauded for putting the social in “Social Cinema,” Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero boasts amazing views of the Downtown San Diego skyline, fun lawn and table games and classic cinema concessions.

For screenings starting at 4 p.m. or later, the Manchester Grand Hyatt offers a fantastic drink menu from the cinema bar. Doors open 30-60 minutes before each screening to allow guests plenty of time to select their first-come, first-served seats and enjoy the venue’s offerings. And once the films begin, Rooftop Cinema Club’s guests find themselves immersed in their favorite movie moments through high-fidelity personal headphones and a crystal-clear picture on Rooftop Cinema Club’s famous LED big screen.

With an ocean breeze nearby, it often gets cool at night so guests are encouraged to BTOB – “Bring Their Own Blankets” – to keep cozy during their screenings, however blankets and sweatshirts are available for purchase at the Rooftop Cinema Club Box Office.
